Pacific Grove Four Ball
August 24, 2019
Pacific Grove Golf Links

The club has played Pacific Grove Golf Links many times over the years and, despite the short lengh (5727 yards from the blues), it has always been a challenge. This year was no exception although the wind did not blow as hard as it usually does. The course was in pretty good shape except for the greens which appear to have been recently punched.

In the First Flight, the team of Ross Erickson and Roger Kalemba shot one of the lowest four ball scores in recent club history and won the flight with ease by posting a remarkable 13 under score of 57. Second place went to Matt Passell and Keith Shiver at 9 under 61 while Dave Bridgman and William Wei finished third at 63.

Two teams tied at 8 under 62 in the Second Flight with Darian Arends and Ken Arends winning the tie breaker to take first place. The second spot went to Jack Purcell and Jack Woods while Chuck Pickett and Tracy Powell shared third with Don Kristofferson and John Harris.

Congratulations to the winners and thanks for travelling to the Monterey Peninsula.
