NCGA SENIOR FOUR BALL QUALIFIER RESULTS
July 27
A small but select group of senior members tried to qualify for this
NCGA Tournament. Some other, less elderly folks also competed in
the tournament. Round of the day went to Chuck Cali and Sam Giannotti
who teamed incredibly well for a net 60 which probably should have been
about 57. They took first place in the first flight but were much
too young to represent our club in a senior event. Jim Mayer relied
heavily on John Osness to finish with a net 62 to take the first qualifier
spot. John Frykland and Jack Helt shot a 63 as did with Bob Kelley
and our perpetual qualifier, Bill Dolan, to take the other two qualifying
spots.
