Check here as the season progresses for the Tournament of Champions Point standings. The top 36 players (and ties) at the end of the year gain entry to the TOC Tournament where the 'Player of The Year' is determined.
The rules are fairly simple. Points are gained for $$$$ earned in club events in which all members can participate. This rules out the tournaments at the end of the year (since the next year's new members can't participate) as well as the New Members Tournament, itself. The Member/Guest is also excluded because some guests are better than others. Only half credit is given for two man and 4 man team events.
The original goal of this event was to encourage participation in both home and away tournaments. Judging from prior years, players enjoy seeing their names on the board, so come on out and get your name as high up the list as you can.
