This year's trip to the challenging Callippe Preserve was played as an individual low net with a single flight of 20 players. The difficulty of the course is evidenced by the limited number of red scores. Low gross went to John Driver with a 76 that included some prodigious drives on or just over the greens on the short par 4 2nd, 5th, 8th and 12th. Playing from the white tees helps everyone! The low net ended in a tie between Steve Mikulic and Ross Erickson at 71. Club policy for away events is to have a card playoff for first place and for any places where the prize is a gift certificate at the course. After applying the tie-breaker rules, Steve came out on top. Congratulations to the money winners and condolences those who didn't fair so well on this tough course.
