Las Positas - ILN

Last year's trip to Los Positas was wet and wild with several players not finishing due to the constant rain that fell. This year 36 players made the trip to Livermore on May Day and enjoyed much better conditions.

In the First Flight, Adolfo Pina shot a great one-over 73 to win low gross. Not to be outdone, Ray Fales went very low with a 64 to take the low net prize.

Craig Allen continues to play well and took his second consecutive low gross title in the Second Flight with and 82. Steady John Binns, who played well at Poppy Hills, continued his strong play with a 70 to win low net.  John must love Las Positas since he won here in 2009 and took second in 2008.

* Per club rules, ties at away tournaments are decided by a card playoff to determine prize money
since that often comes in the form of gift certificates good at the course where the event is played.
The points are evenly divided across the tied players with fractional points rounded up to the next whole number.
