In this year's NCGA Net Amateur Qualifier, the club is sending six participants to the next round of qualifying on September 23 at several courses throughout Northern California.

In the First Flight, new member Jonathan Coldoff used his skills and his two handicap to shoot 152 and take home the low gross prize.  Unfortunately, his net score was not low enough to qualify for round two.  The three low net qualifiers in this flight were club president Mike Matkowski, Ray Fales and William Wei who all finished one shot apart.  Mike's round on Sunday featured a wobbly 43 on the front nine followed by a great two under par 34 on the back.

In the Second Flight Keith Arends took low gross and also qualified with a seven under total of 137 to tie Miguel Palma who is also moving on.  The overall low net for the tournament and in the flight went to Lou Sehl with a consistent pair of 67's and a 134 total.
