Red, White and Blue - ILN
July 10, 2010

Red numbers were the order of the day as all those who won something were under par.  It's amazing how picking the tees you want to play gives one an advantage in this popular event.

In the First Flight, three players were under par on their gross scores. Dylan Cavaliere and Brent Booth both shot fantastic 68's.  In a card playoff, Dylan took the low gross prize leaving Brent to compete for low net.  Fortunately or unfortunately, Brent has a +3 handicap meaning he shot a net 71, one shot from winning any prize money or points.  Low net went to Patrick Beaulieu who shot the third under par round with a 71.  Subtracting his course handicap of 11 meant that his net 60 easily took the low net prize.

The Second Flight saw Brent's dad Bob Booth shot an 82 to win low gross.  Marshall Armstrong shot a steady net 67 to win low net.  Unfortunately, he was not available for the photo opportunity.

Congratulations to all for another fine club event.
