Brent Booth has been a club member since 2005 but hasn't played in many events.  During that time, he was busy getting an education and playing golf for UC Davis.  Needless to say he's a pretty fair stick playing to a +3 index.  His skill and competitive experience served him well in the Stroke Play Championship.  Playing in the Championship Flight from the black tees (6835 yards), Brent shot a five under 139 to with the flight and also become the club champion.  Last year's champion, John Driver, playing to a zero index, shot a net 147 to win low net in the Championship Flight.

In the First Flight, Patrick Beaulieu shot 81 and 76 to take the low net prize at 157.  The win moved him into the lead in the Tournament of Champions points chase.  The low net prize went to Brad Miller, who along with Arn Cenedella and Dave Farwell, finished at even par 144.  Dave did not stay around for the results so  Arn and Brad went back out on the course to decide the champion.  With a par on the first hold, Brad took the low net trophy.

The Second Flight low gross trophy went to Bob Gleason with scores of 83 and 85 for a total of 168.  Woody Maynard eked out a one stroke victory in the low net category by shooting scores of 68 and 73 for a three under total of 141.

Finally, in the Third Flight, Mike Riche took low gross with scores of 85 and 93 for a 178 total.  Ross Erickson also won the low net trophy by a single stroke with scores of 69 and 72 for a three under 141 total.
