Maintaining Trophy Wall in Restaurant

The PAGC keeps track of its Major Championship Winners on plaques in the restaurant.  These currently have enough space to run through 2007.  A future Board will decide how to proceed in 2008.  It is the TC's responsibility to get new name plates engraved for each of the tournaments after it concludes.  This area is a good advertisement for the club.  Don't let it get out of date.

There are blank brass strips (as well as a screwdriver) in a bag in locker # 9 in the restaurant.  We also use locker # 8.  The keys to these lockers are in the Pro Shop (along with a key to the Bulletin Board in the breezeway.)

Palo Alto Trophy (on Fabian Way) has been supplying our engraving needs.  A good technique is to give them enough strips at the start of the year for all 9 engravings and then phone in the request.  There is also a sample strip available so that they can match the font(s) which have been used.

There is also a Trophy above the plaques which gets the name of the Player of the Year. 

Finally there are some plaques with printed Major Tournament Results which should be updated after each major tournament.  While the WEB has also got this information, it is is a good idea to give our winners some recognition in a more public place.

Templates to print these forms are on the laptop computer and it looks better to print them on our club stationary (until it runs out).
