Tournament of Champions Point System

The TOC points race has become a significant part of the PAGC competitive year.  The Player of the Year award goes to the winner and demonstrates great skill plus participation in a large number of tournaments.  In addition, ending up in the top 36 (+ ties) at the end of the regular season gets you into the two day TOC tournament which includes one day of free golf for all qualifiers.  Results at that year end tournament determine the final winner.

Points start accumulating with the first tournament after each year's TOC Championship.  Every dollar earned = 1 TOC point with the following exceptions:

  • Points earned in any team event are divided in half (rounding up to the nearest point)
  • Points earned in the Directors' Cup, Match Play Championship, Stroke Play Championship, and the TOC itself are doubled.
  • The TOC is kept on the website by the Webmaster.  If you think that there is a discrepancy between your points on the web and your actual tournament results, use the link on the website to raise the issue with the webmaster.
