Yours truly, El Presidente, is this year’s Player of the Year! Heading into the TOC in second place (thanks to a very strong summer tournament play success), Doug was still in need of a strong finish to overcome a 32 point deficit to claim the coveted POY honors. He handled business by shooting a low gross win in the second flight (82) and he succeeded to secure the win. Congratulations, Doug; a great year of golf display while still leading the club activities behind the scenes!

High efficiency and consistency is what best describes Doug’s tournament golf game! Playing in only his 8th (yes, EIGHT) tournament, he finished the 2023 Player Points League Standings in the Top 10! But heading into the TOC, Doug had to face some of PAGC’s known best low-gross scorers at the TOC. But still, he bested all of them to take TOC Low Gross honors. Nice shooting, Doug!

Patrick is a rookie on the PAGC circuit and he capped his first year with a win! Heading into TOC, he was on the outside looking in (ranked 40th in points). But the golf gods were with him, as he got the call to join the elite group of 36 players; and boy did he show us he belonged by shooting a career best 78 gross (NET 65). If you’re gonna shoot your career low, do it on the biggest stage; congrats, Patrick!
