May, 2023 Annual Meeting Board Minutes

• Meeting called to order at 1pm on Saturday May 6th, 2023

• Present:  Around 50 PAGC members, Doug Marinkovich, Chris Dierkes, Andrew Clauson, Rafa Carmona, Nick Williams

• Not Present:  Jim Cowie, Chuck Pickett, Chris Walker & James Kaku

• Presidents Update:

  • PAGC is a mostly volunteer organization.

  • 2 paid positions (Bookkeeper & Communications Director)

  • Introduce board and their roles

  • 3 board members terms expire at the end of 2023:  Marinkovich, Clauson & Kaku 

  • Tournament winnings in Baylands pro shop:  PAGC is to be charged Link’s Card pricing; Please spend your winnings.

• Nick Williams, Handicap Chairman:  See Slide Deck

• Tournaments:

  • Tournament Directors:  Pickett, Walker, Driver, Clauson, Marinkovich, Kaku, Heathorn, Black, Williams 

  • Tournament Chairman:  Pickett in 2023 and Marinkovich in 2024

  • Pace of Play Policy:  This needs to be a focus for ALL members who play in our tournaments.

  • Processing fees:  Discuss Policy.  Member Planet charges about 3% for any money going through their system.  This is why we don’t refund processing fees.

  • Need (1) or (2) more TD’s:  

  • 2024 Schedule (In process)

  • Golf Genius:  Everyone should be using now for mobile scoring
